LET INNOVATION BE YOUR GUIDE
Siedle owes its distinctive character to a family of designers that pursues the extraordinary even when addressing the ordinary. While this commitment to excellence is evident in all of their products, it's especially clear in the design and production of the Siedle letterbox, where every effort is made to address common problems with intelligent solutions.
The fruits of this labor are immediately evident: The faceplate and letterbox flap are designed to eliminate the possibility of water intrusion. The keyed collection box not only discourages mail theft and vandalism, but also integrates with the entry station's keypad or card reader, enabling automatic lock opening. Engraving options highlight property addresses, while integrated lighting provides nighttime illumination. The result is an intelligent, attractive solution that truly delivers the goods.
LETTERBOX STYLES
Modern entry stations provide a range of functions - communications, surveillance, access control and information. While these are important tasks, Siedle also recognizes the need to minimize the number of devices present at the entrance to achieve a clean, modern appearance. To address this concern, Siedle merges its active features with a passive one - mail collection. By incorporating a letterbox into the faceplate, the Siedle entry station offers an elegant solution to the challenge of providing a streamlined environment.
Available in each of the three style lines - Steel, Classic and Vario - letterboxes may be configured as either standalone units or as part of an integrated entry station. If adequate exterior wall space is available, the entry station can be equipped with a pass-through tube that terminates at a collection point on the interior of the building. Alternatively, a locked collection box located immediately below the letter slot provides the user with an attractive and convenient point of retrieval.
VARIO LETTERBOXES
Siedle Vario covers just about every conceivable requirement when it comes to entryway communications. It does so by integrating a multitude of functions within a single standardized framework. Whether providing communication between the visitor and homeowner, the ability to view a visitor over a range of devices, or complete control over an integrated door lock system, Siedle's Vario is the epitome of good modular structured door communication.
This architecture is based around a series of modules that can be assembled together within the entry station, a structured framework that houses the external components. While Siedle's letterbox assembly can function as simply a standalone mail receptacle, it can equally well serve as an attractive addition to the entry station, sharing a common painted frame and creating aesthetic consistency. Vario letterboxes are available in flush or surface-mounted model, as well as standalone pedestals.

CLASSIC LETTERBOXES
Siedle Classic is the contemporary interpretation of the classic door station. Designed with reference to the Portavox, the company's first door intercom unit, the basic design of the modular system consists of a solid metal face with a traditional speaker grill and an illuminated call button. A combination of the circular and linear aesthetic elements, Siedle's Classic line is the ideal choice for those who appreciate the value of finished metal and high-quality components, but don't need the design flexibility of the Steel line.
The standard versions of Siedle Classic are designed for the typical needs of most entrances - from a simple door station with a doorbell and intercom system, through to a video door station with access control and a letterbox. The letterbox is available in two versions - front retrieval or a pass through tube that routes mail to a collection box on the opposite site of the wall. Siedle Classic is only available in a flush-mounted version at this time.

STEEL LETTERBOXES
Siedle Steel letterboxes are an extension of the Steel design line, and as such provide the highest degree of client-guided design flexibility. The front panel is laser cut to provide the cleanest profiles, guided by a CAD program that blends Siedle's famous modular integrity with the seamless appearance of a screwless faceplate. This process enables clients to provide maximal guidance on the form and function that best suites them and the environment. For information on metal and paintwork options, please see the Siedle finishes section.
Siedle Steel letterboxes can be incorporated into a communication entry station or fabricated for standalone use. Additionally, several options exist with regard to the collection of mail.
